Just a few comments on the recent postings.

Balanced Ultimate calendar - I think that this year the Tour became
virtually the whole season which was unfortunate. This was partly due to
Southampton (an established tournament) becoming a tour event and Lurkers
(Croydon) unfortunately not happening. In the end I don't think we have had
any non-tour tournaments this season where any of the worlds teams turned
up with a near full squad.

Nationals etc. I personally am against the tour being the qualification for
nationals because either they are separate items or they are not and right
now we seem to be stuck in a half way house. I also see the point that
students are unlikely to be able to field full teams every time and
northern teams struggle to make all the tour events. If regionals are
qualification for Nationals they will happen and a teams ability to reach
nationals will not depend upon being able to attend with a full squad all
the seasons tournaments.

Tour and usefulness to worlds teams - For the Druids I do not think the
tour helped at all, but this is not necessarily the tour's fault but to
some extent our unwillingness to lose games we could have won just to learn
and practise new ideas and tactics. However more games against lower ranked
teams may have given us this opportunity.
