Dear All

Here is the run down of the weekend in Edinburgh

Friday

A lovely pub another of those Firkin ones and all teams met and found
there respective hosts.

Day one of playing went as per usual with all pool and x overs being
13 minutes long and everything going to scedule. Then for the
serious side of any beginners tournament in Edinburgh--- Drinking

The party some distance away meant that buses were needed to take
the hoards down there, if you didn't have a ticket you didn't get on.
I think for many that is where the real party started. As you
walked in that was it, no beginning of party starts everyone was in
there straight away, doing the party thing.

Although later the normal tops off and body surfing was done by most
concerned. This year saw a first with the tops situation, women
taking a semi pluge into what has been quite a male thing for the
last two years at least.

Any way everyone found the way home and after second days play Games
25 minutes long, 8 teams playinjg for the cup, next 8 for the plate
and bottom 9 a round robin for the spoon the f inal results were
