Just a quick note to thank everyone who came to our little Savage 7
tourney - which by some miracle attracted exactly 28 players.

We formed four teams (picked from three hats which were adjusted for
experience) and played three games to 15 on the lovely soft turf at
Wandsworth Common. The honors ended up being fairly well split with
three teams going 2&1 and one team losing all its games. The caliber of
play was quite high (especially given that we are now firmly in the
off-season) and the name-calling and taunting were kept to a minimum.

As the holiday season is nearly upon us we will not be having another
Tourney until January (date to follow). However, we will be having two
practices before Christmas: Dec 7 & 21 at 11:00am on Wandsworth Common,
and all the usual suspects are invited.
