All I can say is keep the discussion going. How many people have
learned to play Ultimate as a student and gone on to compete futher at
national and international level? With the number of junior teams
increasing, the pool of talented players entering universities is
increasing, and should speed up the learning curve of those who are
introduced to the game in establishments of higher drinking,*ahem* I mean
learning :-)

This need to be sorted out. New University teams are springing
up all the time, and their growth needs to be encouraged, not hindered. At
the same time those more established clubs can gain the university stamp
of apporval by getting their sport made a 'blue'. the more universities
that have Ultimate as a sport which you can get colours, the stronger the
case for Utimate being made a BUSA sport. But to get a blue, you need to
win, to win you need your strongest team.

Britdisc is a forum for the discussion of *all* aspects of disc
sports. This is an important topic, and needs as much input as possible to
arrive at a sensible outcome.

	Paul.
