I agree David Eastman, you gotta love a last minute huck to Charlie in the
end zone. At least we didn't roll over and die.

As for our inappropriate zone, you can bet if we had a chance in hell of
successfully playing anything else, we would have tried it (and then
probably gone back to zone!). But, with one injured and unfit player
(Ian), one other unfit player (me), one player who was returning to the
game from a long hiatus (Dave), and only four other players- hey, we did
the best we could.

But I have to say- for a bunch of players who were playing together for the
first time- it worked surprisingly well. In fact, except for the
Chineapple Punks game, who very intelligently dissected the zone- it worked
like a charm when Watershed were playing the zone properly and as a team.
Watch out, 'cause we'll get our crap together eventually. Maybe we'll even
learn to play man-on man defense. But I doubt it.

Thanks for the great time Paul and Village.

Watershed, lately anyway
