I agree with your point.

On the other had, I've had a different experience with Sh(o)tgun.  I've
been soundly thrashed by them a number of times, and they've always been
perfectly cordial and friendly, with smiles included.  That doesn't mean I
enjoyed it, but they played with respect.

The Druids, of course, are a different matter...
