Hi Sean and everyone else

Oops, Ultimatum, yes, well...

Big changes are afoot with Ultimatum. We've decided to abandon the big
glossy format (a bit impractical and expensive) and we're going to do
lots of cheap updates instead, which should mean we can get them out much
more frequently. And there'll be a website where news will get posted
pretty much immediately, if you can't be bothered to wait.

Then at the end of each year there'll be a "Review" edition, a big
(thirty pages or so!) glossy colour issue with loads of photos from the
previous indoor and outdoor seasons.

There WILL be a "Review of 97" which I hope will make up for the lack of
Ultimatums this (I mean last) year. Hoping to have that ready to go by
the end of February. In the meantime, there'll be an Ultimatum Update
published by the end of this month (out at Newport hopefully) which will
explain what's happening in more detail, as well as containing other
recent news, the diary, and so on.

Sorry it's been so long since the last issue. I took on a bit too much
over the summer. And buying property doesn't help - having a mortgage
tends to rearrange your priorities slightly. So apologies for the break
in service - I'm working on it.

Which reminds me, anyone who'd be prepared to assist with the "London
Ultimate Session" this year (starting April) please get in touch.

("The London what?" Visit http://www.ultimatum.demon.co.uk/lus/ )

See you soon

Paul
