Hello Student Types,

Re: Student Outdoor Finals, Leicester, 2/3rd May 1998

It is now two weeks since I mailed out the details about the Student
outdoor finals, but I have had little response. Anyone who didn't get
any details please mail me immediately. So far only three teams are
entered with one second team on the reserve list.

Teams definitely entered
1. No Frills (Cardiff)
2. Mwnci See (Aberystwyth)
3. Mohawks (Brighton)

Teams in reserve until March 21st (after this date presuming the
tournament is not already full these teams will be added to the list
and priority will no longer be given to first teams)
1. Mohawks II (Brighton)

I know the Athletic Union can really drag its feet when it wants to,
but I really would have expected to get more cheques by now. If you
think you are going to fail to make March 21st, but want to be sure
your team is entered just send me a personal cheque. I will then send
you a receipt on headed BUF paper, so that you can claim the money back
off the union.

Just a reminder, cheques should be made payable to 'More than just a
hint' for the sum of seventy pounds and sent to me at the address at
the end of this email.

Get your money in the post,

Simon Weeks
Student Co-ordinator

P.S. Due to a number of teams not being able to make the Bank Holiday
Monday after the weekend (particularly those in Scotland for whom it
is not a Bank Holiday), the idea of making it a three day tournament has
been dropped.
