3. Tournament Reports
 ---------------------

I understand some of what Roger is saying,
but also feel compelled to defend the TDs that
spend so much time making it possible for me to
play ultimate.

I would love to see some coherent tournament reports
from all events, but esp. the biggest ones.
But I slightly disagree with Roger about the TD
doing it. I think we would get better (in lots of ways)
reports if they were written by people who wanted to do it,
and arrived at a tournament knowing that they would do it.

My idea was to be able to arrive at this situation by
asking people to come forward to write something for
the Tour Newsletter. (Interestingly, now that I've started
swearing about it, several of my friends have come forward
and offered!)

So I was following Roger's advice and delegating. I just
thought it would be easier to delegate from one place rather
than 5 different places.

Essentially we all agree, which is nice.

Please continue to offer your help if you want to write a
tournament report. You don't have to do more than one.
Hey! - you could even just do half a one!

Thats all!

Me:
Hey Roger, you've started something, and you may even be off the hook on
my delegation. But that is a way forward, have groups of people writing
small reports, that go to the TD, which are then collated.
