Hi all
Remember this a week ago?

Lawrence, Lawrence, Lawrence. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! You are asking
Ultimate teams to play in two different versions of the same game to prove
they are the best. By your rational (and assuming the Brazilian football
sqaud will win the World Cup) Ronaldo, Romario and Co. would then have
to beat all the other World Cup qualified nations in a Five a Side indoor
tourney with smaller goals, a wooden floor, a smaller pitch in a shorter
game.

I'm sorry, but indoor Ultimate is a different game from outdoor. Don't get
me wrong, I really enjoy indoor tournaments and great skill is always
demonstrated, but take away the protection of the walls and roof and let the
weather have a go and a team really has to dig deap to perform well.

The Dublin Tourney last weekend was a prime example, driving wind and
sometimes rain forced a short game and the mud underfoot took away some
pace.

I believe what demonstrates true skill is a team that is not only good enough
to out play its opposition, but to overcome the weather too.

All the bester
