Well, maybe it's a shame to continue this after the weekend, but it's
probably too late for most of you to read this on Friday...

My apologies to all for taking some of this seriously :)

AT>Since when has a druid ever used their brains

"a druid"..."brains" - we've got more than one? EACH by your grammar!
tho' 'tis more likely that you mean between us?

AT> and adjusted their playing style?

As a team:
1) "Ignore Adam" offence,
2) "Adam and Karl do their stuff" offence
3) "Keep Adam off the pitch at all costs" O or D
4) iron man, utilising a junk D at Monkfest'96 to destroy a 21 strong
Monks team something horrible...
5) same tourney, playing zone D, our off-point heads for the endzone
after 5 passes [yes, we *were* still on D, and yes, most times we
scored]
6) training nearly half of those UTI boys for a year or so, getting it
into their heads that they *could* beat Shotgun if they played right,
and then letting them go away and do it!

Personally:
I've played for other teams (even UTI! anyone else remember the days
when they'd rarely throw *forwards* ?). I've learnt something from each
of them... but they don't have the same entertainment factor as the
Druids!

AT> Remind me the last time Druids dazzled us with a new and effective
AT> style?

Some of the above, which are unique to the Druids (obviously!) and the
alledged "SlimBoy" offense, as seen at Leicester (tho' most of us would
agree with that being a figment of someone's deranged imagination)

Nope, you're right - like most teams, we borrow or modify someone else's
plays

AT> Who can remember the last time Druids beat UTI.

I refer you to Alan Baldwin's comment (after all, the indoor games don't
count, so it doesn't matter if you won them, right?)

AT> I'm not having some "Piltdown Man" Retter

Personal insults! Cool!

AT> calling us stupid.

I'm not calling you stupid! I'm pointing out that the other teams
are/seem more intelligent!

AT> Your right Wayne, check out our endzone celebrations next time we
AT> play you, especially the one involving bagels...

Wayne
