I couldn't agree with Jon more. A disc sports or (just) Ultimate coaching
qualification structure is something that (to my knowledge) has not been
set up in any country to date. The latest news on the British front is that
Simon Moore has taken on the role of Project Manager for the BFDF Coach
Education Project. Simon will be building upon the foundations laid by
Chris Hughes. Chris brought his Sports Science training as well as his
knowledge of the National Coaching Foundation (NCF) to the work he carried
out during the last twelve months.

I imagine that Simon will be looking for suitable volnteers to help with
the project, but we are still at the planning stage as I write.

Some great discussion on BD at the moment, with this amount of interest
(and just from those who have Internet access) how can disc sports in
Britain fail to grow strong! Keep it going.

Sam Neilson
National Director of the BFDF.
