I think we're suffering from:
1) more and more people having seen good web sites while surfing;
2) these same people underestimating the amount of work which goes into
creating a site of that quality, let alone maintaining it.

We could have a great BUF web site.....but there's no way Scottie can do
it all on his own; IMHO the BUF web job should be split between at least
one programmer/designer and someone else updating the database of
content (results/news items). I think if Scott had the support of
someone filling in the words and pictures (ie being in editorial
control), he wouldn't have got so swamped and we could really move the
site forward.

Big question - Is it worth it? It's alot of one or two peoples' time and
we must weigh up the benefits before we set off down any particular
path.

Anyway, ANY TIME YOU UTI YOUNGSTERS!!!!!

PS see http://www.kbw.co.uk/shotgun for our web site if you haven't
already.

PPS see http://www.number-10.gov.uk for an example of what I do during
the day. This site was launched last week, and yes, we did get to meet
Tony.
