Hi all

London Ultimate Session - open practice and summer league
---------------------------------------------------------
Just writing to update everyone on the situation - I'm still talking to
Lambeth Council about booking pitches on Clapham Common. They've promised
(today) to look into again it and speak to me on Monday when the chap who
has the final say gets back from some course he's doing. Ho hum.

In the meantime, we might as well just try and get started without their
help. I'm proposing a similar system to last year - three "league" teams
playing a double round-robin. So one league game, and a separate pickup
game each week.

Which day of the week we play has yet to be looked into, and I'll try and
sort this out tonight. But if you're a reasonably experienced player, and
you're interested in playing regularly for a league team, please mail me
back now and I'll put you on the list. I need:

* your name
* your e-mail address
* your phone number (daytime no. too, if possible)
* the BUF team you normally play for (so I can vaguely work out who you
are if I don't know you)

Info about what the LUS is and how it worked last year is on the web at:

More later

Bye

Paul
