To add to Rob's words

Chevron have lost three players to the Womens teams this season.
Claire P, Jackie H and Laura all easily made the grade and were valued
Chevron team members. They made the choice to play in womens teams,
and that's fine by us, but until now, as members of our open team,
     they certainly did 'work'.

Up until a few years ago Stan regularly had women in their side (Sue, Rachel, Shirley, Tara to name a few) and we still made it to nearly every final going.

I also remember when I started playing back in the early 80s there was a women's division at nearly all tournaments - national and local. So, women's only divisions are not new in this country, just awaiting a re-discovery.
I remember the Sirens & Skidmarks. There were regularly about 6 to 8 teams playing. Anyone recall any others names?
