4th Quarry Park Open Disc Golf Champiuonship
Leamington Spa
June 13-14th
Registration 9.30 to 10.00

Regular disc golfers and new players are all invited to play in
this "A" tier BDGA event. There will be several newcomers to disc
golf so don't be shy if you have never been to a tournie before.
You can use Ultrastars if you wish. Golf discs will be on sale and
if you are a new player you can borrow discs too.

The course is set in 15 acres of pasture on the banks of the river
Avon. It has been specifically landscaped with 1500 trees and 1km
of fencing to create a dedicated disc golf course. There are 18
double chain baskets and the holes average over 90m in length.

The exact format has not yet been finalised due to technical
problems - my mowing machine is not working and the sheep have not
been eating enough !! There will probably be 2 rounds on Sat. and 2
on Sunday plus a 6 hole final.

The top whack cost is twelve pounds but
less 2 pounds for pre-registered
less 2 pounds for unwaged
less 2 pounds for tournament virgin
less 1 pound for BDGA member

Players get free sandwiches and one free can of drink on both days.
There will be prizes of free discs for closest to pin, most discs
in the river, most OB's etc.

Please make your entry fee payable to:-
D.J.Robins and send to
50 Spring Lane
Kenilworth
Warwickshire
CV8 2HD

Pre-registration not only saves you 2 pounds it helps me ensure
there is sufficient food for you!!

Unless you feel no pain or are very confident of your accuracy you
should consider bringing some long trousers as there is "rough"
with nettles and thistles!

You are welcome to camp on the course, but be prepared to shoo the
sheep away in the morning if they try somewaht clumsily to lick the
dew of your tent!
