Hi all,

I just want to say a great big thank-you to all those teams who made
the long trek to play at the 5th Edinburgh Beginner's tournament, and
to Barry for organising a very smooth tournament.
Play throughout the weekend was tight and fast, with 2 of the
quarter-finals, 1 semi and the final all having to end in sudden
death. Great for players and spectators alike. The party this year
surpassed our effort last year, which I thought would be an
impossible task to achieve. Every team got well into it - it was my
first experience of stage-diving and crowd surfing at an ultimate
event - and no serious injuries either :-)
Special congratulations go to Flying sorcerers I (St. Andrews) for winning
overall, Stirling for winning spirit, Disciples for winning the spoon
and Fingers 6 for winning plate.

Looking forwards to '97 Beginner's ,

Jim McDonald,

Sneeeky's
