Hi,

A friend of mine is doing his dissertation on ultimate frisbee (whoever
said being a student was easy?) and he asked me if anyone out there on
Britdisc knew anything about the origins of Ultimate in Britain. He's
trying to compare it to how the sport started up in Austria I think.

Anyway, does anyone know the answer to any of the following questions,
or can they point me in the right direction?

When did it start? Who were the first teams? Who brought it from
America? Were the first teams student teams? Who organsied the first
tournament and who went to it? Who was the first open team? etc...

Answers to any of these questions and any other useless trivia would be
much appreciated.

Thanks very much
Will
