Written details, maps, directions, etc. go into the post tomorrow to all teams that have entered a tour tournament this year. Duckes Meadow, Exeter - July 17/18, 1999 Uriel would like to invite you to the final event of the 1999 BUF Ultim8 Tour. The tournament is being held at Exeter University's Duckes Meadow where 10 lined pitches can cope with up to 32 teams As usual, accommodation is courtesy of Double Locks Pub, located a 10 minute walk away from the pitches (15 minutes by car, or 1 minute swimming). If camping is not your style, then there is a B&B available on request. Free camping is available any night, but please respect the pub's rules. Don't bring your own drink! Don't eat your own food on their premises (or at least don't be seen doing so). They reserve the right to kick anyone and everyone off their premises for abusing these rules. There will be a food tent on the pitches providing hot and cold food (a more extensive choice than normal, we hope). Friday and Saturday evening, Double Locks will be serving their normal menu meals, and providing a Bar-B-Q both evenings. There are numerous restaurants and take-aways in town. Just head for the main high street. We hope to improve facilities by having water more available on the pitches, and a marquee if the weather is bad. This year, there will be two physios attending. The cost of the tournament is £60 (plus £15 tax). Please send a cheque (payable to Jennie McLaren) to be received no later than July 10th. If you haven't paid your £15 BUF tax deposit yet, then send it to Dora Kemp (McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research, Downing Street, Cambridge, CB2 3ER) Captain's meeting will take place at 09:00 on the Saturday, with matches beginning at 09:30. On the Sunday, matches will start at 09:00 sharp, with the presentations being held by 17:00. Enclosed is the list of teams that have paid their deposit.
