I thought the split site was fine. I was pleased to see all the top teams
being sent over there - but would add that it was an enormous shock to our
system on Saturday morning.

My only comment would be that captain's meeting finished too late given the
distance to the other site, and that a map would have really helped!! When
I whinged about these things to Jack (thats my wife if you don't know - she
plays for Twin Peaks) she pointed out (in her own colourful language) that
this sort of thing often happens to the lower ranked teams and that I might
want to shut up.

But I can imagine plenty of really good reasons why the capts meeting wasn't
earlier than 9, and why it started late, and why nobody had had time to draw
a map. So I'm definitely not interested in complaining! I love the
Southampton tourney - and I love the cricket scoreboard. I could never tire
of that particular gag.

See you all in Exeter for the showdown...

>From brief calculation: (maybe some Stattos could check this out...)
If UTI win -> UTI win the tour.
If Catch win -> Catch win the tour.
If Chev win (with Catch beating UTI in 3rd place playoff) -> Chev win the
tour.
Given that Catch and UTI cannot meet in semis, and also that Dough Boy have
already been in one final this is certainly not beyond the realms of
possibility.

I haven't checked out where any of the other teams could finish - I am
assuming that nobody else can win. I haven't looked - but I wouldn't be
suprised if DoughBoy could still finish in the top 3.

There must be quite a few other 3-4 team battles going on further down the
rankings. Does anyone have time to give some details? I think it would be
quite interesting.
