Fluid Druids and Layout Dreams are SEPERATE entities.

Layout Dreams (Chris and I) attempt to run quality tournaments (as requested by
the Ultimate playesr of this country) and, in so doing, make some money to fund
our playing expenses.

Abuse Chris and I as much as you like [ and be prepared to get as you give :) ],
but PLEASE, don't mix the Layout Dreams and Fluid Druid organisations together,
even in fun.

Fluid Druids (admittedly, mostly Chris and I over the last few years) have run
the Ross on Wye tournament because it is an insitution on the BUF calendar. Yes,
in the past the Druids as a club have made some money out of the tournament
(that helped with covering BUF subs, tourney fees, training pitch hire, kit
costs, sponsoring the Juniors, etc...)

Sometimes, I'm not entirely sure why the Druids run Ross - the tournament venue
is comparatively horrible [pitches, showers, toilets], the owners become more
uncooperative each year [they might not even let us have access to the showers
and toilets that are on site this year], and costs are escalating wildly [we'll
have to arrange/hire replacements]

And then we have to regularly turn teams away because we're oversubscribed!
[Even at the extortionate 1998 price of GBP 112.00]

Bottom line - if you don't want to come, don't [Red don't attend Druid's
tournaments on principle...] If you boycott a tournament for being too
expensive, it'll either get less expensive, or not happen in future.

If you think people want to do something different/cheaper, organise it - even
on the same weekend.
