Sally (and other interested Londoners),

Doug (of Clapham Bullfrogs and UTI) has always been the one to book the
tooting pitches and he's been on the case for a week or so. He's been
speaking to the guy in the hut at Tooting and is trying to book TWO nights a
week down there. Last year the practices became very over-subscribed so
we're trying to split the practices into one closed night and one open
night. We think there's definitely enough demand. If we can't get two nights
there we're going to try to book a floodlit track middle in Battersea Park
(apparently not Astro-turf unlike the rest of the floodlit pitches there).
Practices are likely to start sometime at the beginning of Octobrer when the
current round of bookings end and the clocks go back. More info will follow
when we hear back from Doug.

Get your tights out for the winter!

cya this weekend,
Roger
