All those interested;

If you would like to be involved, or even just considered, with GB Ultimate
(in any division) either as a player or non-playing role, then there is a
practice on the weekend of 16th / 17th October. The practice will be held
centrally, on ONE day (probably Sunday to avoid football), and is open to
everyone, and all five divisions (Open, Women's, Master, Mixed, Juniors).
The details of the times and location will be announced once they can be
confirmed.

Anyone who was at the AGM will know that decisions will be made at the
practice on how GB ultimate is to be run, and who the people who will fill
those roles will be. This means that if you have any plans or proposals then
they need to be with me by writing (email is best) by Monday the 10th so
that I can compile and distribute them at the practice (or possibly before).
I would also ask people to consider what roles if any they may be interested
in and how much responsibility they would be prepared to have. I am aware
that this is difficult since we do not know what the roles are yet, but ask
yourself questions such as 'would I be prepared to be involved in selection
of players?', 'would I be prepared to be a regional practice coordinator?',
'would I be prepared to be a non-playing captain?'. If you are aware of how
much, and what sort of responsibility you are prepared to take, on then this
would make the selection of people to fulfill any role easier.

Please pass this on to any member of your team that is interested in GB but
is not on Britdisc. Once the venue is confirmed can people please ensure
that any interested Junior is able to get lifts if necessary.

Chris
