It may not be a big deal, and I don't want to offend Chris at this moment
(as opposed to other moments :) - 

but why exactly is Chris dealing with this?  It doesn't seem to fall
anywhere near his role?  It also seems to be a funny week for the DoC to be
worrying about something other than Nationals.

If this is just a practicality thing - then fine.  If not - then I'm a bit
concerned.

I'm the first to admit, however, that my deliberate absence from AGM may
somewhat dilute my rights to complain!!! :(
