After discussion with the Student and Women's coordinators I have finalised
The majority of BUF events for the next year. (These are in the Diary - it
appears Sam is not bothering you with info that far ahead) Nessa has already
sent out about Women's and Pete is taking care of Students so here goes;

Bids
Indoor Regionals - February 26 / 27 & March 4 / 5
These events will again be qualifying events rather than strict regions,
with any team able to enter any event. Expect to be able to cope with
anything up to 20 teams, but at this stage the number of teams that you are
able to cope with is unimportant.

Indoor Nationals - March 18 / 19 or 25 / 26 (preferably the first)
24 teams, min 2 pitches, preferably 3 pitches (although good sized pitches
is important) Viewing gallery, space for teams off pitch, accommodation
options for the small of wallet.

Tour;
As per the AGM one of these tour events needs to be split North(ish) /
South(ish). Sensibly this should be T2 or T3

T1; April 15 /16
T2; May 20 / 21 (possibly 27 /28)
T3; June 17 /18 (possibly 24 /25)
T4; July 15/16 (possibly 22 / 23)

(WUC2000 - 5 - 13th August)

Nationals; September 23 / 24

You can expect to cope with a minimum of 32 teams possibly more. Venues
should have; adequate changing facilities with hot water (well there's
always a first time!). Full size marked pitches, pitch side food and drink,
suitable first aid cover, massage facilities, out of weather huddle space,
parking. You also need to provide for the variety of overnight accommodation
- hotels & B&B, cheap YMCA type, and free (camping / floor space). Evening
should have a party, but some organised drinking at the pub will suffice.

Expect the split event to be off the same standard but only 24 teams (? -
I'm guessing!)
When pricing don't forget to account for BUF tax (15 for the tour) and
ensure that you are not going out of pocket, but excessive profit will be
frowned upon.

Give me full details of venue, location, facilities, accommodation, prices,
etc.
Indoor bids by end of October
Outdoor Bids by15th of November
