More detail will be going out to team contacts later this evening (or more
likely first thing tomorrow morning, sorry for the usual last minute
re-arrangements) but for now, here's how to get to Dulwich College.

First off I'm afraid there's no way I can do this unless you've got a
bog-standard map of London. Find the South Circular Road A205, which is
well signed all along its route. Dulwich Village is close to its
southernmost point. This might come in useful. Venue is marked the PE
Centre.
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?grid2map?X=533250&Y=172750 Isn't
the Internet wonderful?

>From the West you'll be going through Clapham Common, Streatham, Tulse Hill
and past West Dulwich Station (RHS). ***Through the chicane-like bends, and
past the main school building & playing fields on the RHS to the next set of
traffic lights. Left is signed to Dulwich Village, right isn't signed at
all, but that's where you want to go. It's a private-looking road called
College Road. 150m on the left is an even more private-looking road called
Pond Cottages. At the end of that (mind the 6 inch humps!) is the car park
and the PE Centre.

>From the East you'll have gone through Catford and Forest Hill and then
turned left at the junction where the main road appears to go straight on to
become the A2216 (probably signed East Dulwich and/or Camberwell). So now
you're on Dulwich Common (road name for that stretch of the A205), with
playing fields on the LHS. The first(?) set of lights are about 1km (with a
pond on the LHS). To the right is signed Dulwich Village, left isn't signed
at all, but that's where you want to go. It's a private-looking road called
College Road. 150m on the left is an even more private-looking road called
Pond Cottages. At the end of that (mind the 6 inch humps!) is the car park
and the PE Centre.

>From the North/South a good way onto the A205 is the A23 (between Brighton
and Brixton) which intersects at a major junction near Streatham. Go east
from there towards Tulse Hill (and follow as above)

Local travel tip if you know the area - avoid Herne Hill's nightmare
roadworks.

If the car park is full there is extra parking but you have to go back to
the last traffic lights, turn left (westward) on the A205 and take next left
through the main school gates to the car park. From there you can walk back
through the school and come out opposite Pond Cottages (don't worry we'll
have local sherpa guides on hand to point you in the right direction on
Saturday).

By public transport:
No direct Tube I'm afraid but trains every 20 mins from Victoria to West
Dulwich, which also stop at Brixton on the Victoria line. For 9am arrival
(you know you want to) 8.38 Vic, 8.45 Brix, 8.49 W Dulwich.
>From there turn right outside the station, and pick up from the *** above.
Shouldn't be more than 10 minutes walk from there, and anyway you're top
athletes, so make that 5 minutes.
Buses: plenty on the South Circular but quite honestly why would you want
to get a bus?

Any questions please ask. See you Saturday.
Cheers
Wayne
