And did you tell the vendors this?

The food vendors were there at their own risk, meeting their own quality
controls, and making their own profits/losses. There were 2 supermarkets
(and Tesco's has a cafe) within 5 mins down the road...

How much beer does an Ultimate player drink?
How many Ultimate players will attend a party?
How much beer do you therefore require for an Ultimate party?
Does that party end, just because the bar has closed?

Anyway, where were you?

BTW, I wasn't at the party either... I really wasn't in the mood to face
a night of half-pissed Ultimate players griping about the obvious...

Tournaments are run to a budget, to include prizes. For info, this
particular tournament wasn't looking likely to make a profit (Paul, are
you paying attention here?). If we'd like 'nicer' prizes, we'll have to
pay more.

Do you actually have any useful proposals for improving things?

Wayne
