Hello britdisc,

as an assistant tournament-director for the next BUF
tournament (CoedCam http://wol.ra.phy.cam.ac.uk/ultimate/coedcam/),
I'd like to give advance
warning that we reserve the right to reschedule the tournament,
in the event of any team's withdrawing, or any other unforeseen
occurrence.

I don't know if Headrush did deliberatly scarper
on Saturday night at Towcester so as to prevent the tournament
from being rescheduled, but I would view such an action as unacceptable
at any tournament I help run.

Captains are responsible for keeping in touch with the TD
during the tournament. TDs will endeavour to give the maximal possible
notice of any changes to the schedule.

Finally, I want to add a comment to the enormous pile
of chat about Towcester: I think it is beyond the pale to
complain about the prizes at Towcester. We (Strange Blue) enjoyed
our "Plate" biscuits in the van on the way home; they were a lot
tastier than glassware and silverware we have won on other occasions.
In my opinion, it is absolutely fine for prizes to be purely symbolic.
I think Ian and Nancy should be left alone now. Thanks, Nancy
for all your hard work!

	David
