Right,

First of all, I apologise to those of you whom this mail is of no interest to.

I guess it's about time something was set up and organised for the next
scholastic year's indoor regionals. As the new Student Co-ordinator, it's down
to me to sort it out, so here we go...

So far, I have had the following proposals for running tournaments :

SE : Mohawks (Brighton)
SW : Skunks (Southampton)
Midlands : Purple Haze (Loughborough)
North : Jedi (Leeds)
           Yorkie Bar Kids (York)
           Fish (Lancaster)
           Disciples (Bradford)

I have yet to have any bid from the new Scottish region, who were the main
instigators in the new regional setup, and assured us there would be plenty of
teams willing to host the event...

Unless there are any more bids for the SW, SE and Midlands, then those teams
above will host their relevant events.

Now, the problem is with the North... I would like a written proposal from each
team wishing to host the event. Included in this should be information such as
hall sizes/capacities, fascilities (eg food during the day), accomodation and
party arragements.

Now, I know that many universities may have finished for the year. However,
unless there is a very good reason for not doing so, I would like all proposals
to me by the 31st July. That gives you just over a month get it done.

If all people planning the regional tournaments could please get in touch with
me, I would be greatful.

If anyone else has something to say, let me know.

Tim.
