Hi folks

Here are the final placings for the 2000 London Ultimate League:

1 Far Queue
2 Freak Show
3 Spandau Ballet
4 Strawberry Jam
5 Treadmill
6 Angels
7 Hammerage
8 Bad Habits
9 Odelayout

And in the spirit competition, the top four places were as follows:

1 Far Queue (35.3 pts)
2 Spandau Ballet (33.6 pts)
3 Freak Show (29.6 pts)
4 Bad Habits (26.8 pts)

Congratulations to Far Queue for doing the double. Trophies are being
engraved and should be ready a week or so after Worlds.

Respect to everyone who partied the night away on Friday and still made
it to Ross the next day. Special thanks to Dr. Love and RV for their
excellent DJ sets.

Visit the website in a couple of weeks time for video of the lava lamp
trophies, and incriminating pictures from the party.

Finally, thanks to everyone who played in the 2000 League. The league is
only a success because of the way you lot faithfully show up for your
games each week. All I do is write a schedule and book a few pitches...

Looking forward to 2001 already.

Paul

P.S. Don't forget there are still London pickup games happening until
September at least.
