I have to agree that the idea of ultimate as not such a serious sport is 
what attracts most people to take part. I'm currently trying to think of 
ways to encourage freshers to take up ultimate as opposed to joining one of 
the many other serious sports clubs at leicester uni and it seems to me the 
only way to compete with these clubs and to attract people is to appear as 
something different which ultimate is, however it is still a competive sport 
like any other. The main difference is that on the whole it is played by 
people who don't
think winning is the only thing that matters and that's not such a bad thing 
is it?
