>I can't believe there hasn't been a single moan about the seedings and
>pools for this weekend yet.

OK, since I'm not going to be playing, I'll bite, and say my bit. This =
is not meant as a=20
criticism of Paul who is doing a wonderful job that even God would be =
proud of, just a=20
couple of corrections to the web site schedule, and a couple of =
observations.

1 V 2 in each pool first match. Now that's harsh! I've never known a =
tournament where=20
the single most crucial game for the top seeds is first. Perhaps the top =
seeds are=20
normally pampered a bit, and have their closest game after a couple of =
warm-up=20
walkover games, but that's their prerogative for being seeded so high.

Likewise all the other first games. Each team has such an important show =
down as=20
there first game. Perhaps it's Sneeeky's revenge to catch those =
jet-lagged teams out=20
since they have had to do the most traveling in the past. Opening pool =
matches are=20
normally 1v4, 2v5, 3v6 just to give all the teams a warm-up game that =
shouldn't=20
produce any upsets.

Sunday morning cross-overs. I guess these are typos. C3 and B3 are =
surely not=20
playing back to back with two chances to make the top 8. I guess this =
should read=20
A2 v B3, C3 v D2 followed by B2 v A3, D3 v C2. Harsh being first match =
on the=20
Sunday, but then it's normally like that.

Quarter finals. Apart from the top 8, I'm a little surprised by the =
mathematics of this, but each to their own.
11:00 Hall 1, shouldn't this be B3 v D4?
11:45 Hall 1, D1 v C2, not D1 v D2.

OK. I'll quit now. I was just bored at work, and I found the schedule =
more interesting (work is REALLY boring). Good luck to Paul coping with =
this many teams, and good luck to everyone playing there.

Kevin.

| Q. Which is the greater problem in the world today, Ignorance or =
Apathy?
| A. I don't know, and I really don't care!
