okay - to join in this debate (but keeping it very brief).
i took up our brilliant sport only 2months ago, when i came
to uni. i had heard about it before, but never had the
opportunity to start it. back home, the only team within
50miles was at the uni but i couldn't have played for them
as i wasn't a student! i might have been able to play many
years ago, but for this fact! my point is that, like one of
my other sports (trials mountain biking), the more people we
can get involved, the better it will be for all! i don't
see why it shouldn't be opened up to more people. and i say
this having been amazed and thoroughly delighted at the
attitude and spirit between all players (i have not seen
another sport yet with such an overall friendly attitude).
surely we should open up out arms and welcome new players -
i for one wish that i'd started earlier! i'll leave it
there (i mean, what do i know - i am only started this lark
very recently). hmm - should there be a limit to the length
of time you have had to be a student? dean - blt.
