Right Sonny Jim,

	First off I said:

hmmmm......gee....is it me or are they both the same argument. And
I seem to remeber that I put forward that argument for saying it doesn't
matter who, as number one team, you play. Thanks for backing me up Rog.
You're a pal.

Now I then went on to say something along the lines of: these
games are exciting for who, Spectators?

	Roger replied:

> I think we meant for the players Paul, after all they represent 98% of
the

Well knock me over with a feather duster. So by your accounts rog, when we
finish playing we don't watch any other games, we just get on with the
next match. I think you'll find that next time you are at a tournament,
If you bother taking your head out from where the sun does not shine, you
will find that there are people dotted around the sides of the field. They
will inevitably be attired in frisbee gear. Well lo and behold, if they
are not players SPECTATING! Duh, engage brain before opening mouth,
please.

NOW before you say "Well...that's what I mean't, PLAYERS!", here'a
something else for you to (try) and think about

these sort of pool matches are tense and exciting ONLY FOR THE
PEOPLE INVOLVED IN PLAYING IT!!! I only watch such pool games if (a) I'm
not playing (b) it directly affects my pool and (c) if it's a really close
game between a top team (eg yoursleves) and a underdog- ish team
(druids/UTI). Other than that I save it for the semis/ final, where
there is a crowd, Roger. You know it's like every other player there
watching? About a hundred or so people. Or are you too wrapped up in your
own self importance to notice?

Now you could argue that that's not the case, that people lurve
watching shotgun play 'cause they are sooooo good.So the 1 v 2 must be
late on so everyone can come and watch the best 'at it'. Well, after a few
years, people wise up you know. And after nine yeasr of watching gun/
Hombres regularly dumping on people (with the honorable exception of
Boleros and reggies), people go and watch other interesting games

	> At least, despite all your bleating Paul, you've got some common sense.
> Next time just roll over and save me the trouble of sending so many mails.

tush tush Roger, no need to be down right abusive. As you will
have noticed I have already taken care of that.

I'll end this with a couple of points:

(1) how do you know I bleat? have you been skulking around my bedroom?
that noise is from a nice little video I purchased from a guy in london.

(2) so you want me to roll over....well I had no idea you were that way
inclined. Do you want me to cover myself in oil as well?

(3) ahh, poor love, he sent two mails and that's two too many.

(4) I've got a hell of a lot of common sense thank you very much.

(5) you are not going to the indoors so what is your problem? right now I
would be worried about how badly you are going to get crapped on by the US
at the worlds

(6) you have now fully endorsed my opinion that 'Gun is basically Druids
with 'O' levels.

(7) I am quite happy to trade cheaop shots with you as long as you wish to
keep this up. But if you want to engage me in a flak war you will lose,
becasue I don't give a (insert appropriate word). So for the sake of
Britdisc - I suggest you back off.

(8) the schedule is being changed.

come and have a go if you think that you are hard enough, I
believe that is how that quaint english drinking song goes.

		Paul.
