	yes chris I have.

so I do the sensible thing - have a dump before I go and then have
one when I get back! However a concert usually lasts two hours. So what are
you proposing? If I follow your logic you are suggesting I do not have a
shower all weekend, but have one before I leave and one when I come back?.

that's fine by me! - which means you don't need changing rooms, SO
bring the costs down!!!

I'm just saying that if you are going to take money off me I expect
a certain standard in return.

If you bought a video player and it was crap, you take it back and
give someone grief.

Likewise if someone takes your money for a tournament and it is
badly run with lousy facilities and they have the nerve to charge over £100
then likewise that organiser should be held accountable.

organisers. These organisers are doing more and more as fewer

and again, is that not because a 32 team tour event is too large?
Given also that on a per tour basis, the people who are most affected are
those playing for crossover into top/ bottom 16, as that affects overall
nationals qualifiaction?

	to Chris and Dora...

hmmm... yes... about this whinging thing....

Chris, I've looked at your initial report at:

	http://www.ultimateweb.co.uk/buf/tour2001.htm

Dora, I've also looked at the agenda for the meeting:

	http://groups.yahoo.com/group/britdisc-daily/message/552

(can I strongly suggest ALL ultimte players who were NOT at the AGM
have a look too.)

in NEITHER OF THESE does it say: 'oh and another disadvantage, we
are going to have to hike the cost of a tour entry fee by up to 100% in
2001'.

what you are proposing is changes to the tour structure from (at
least) 2002 onwards! And this mean prices have to go up because.....

Chris, you must admit you *slightly* omitted that little perl of
wisdom. Dora, you must also acknowledge that the agenda details were also
lacking in this. Where was the motion: increase of tour fees for the
2001/2002 season.

If it was slipped in under AOCB, that is what I call being bloody
underhanded!

That should have been a SEPERATE issue as it DIRECTLY affects all
players/ teams - especially students.

If that had been included in the digest/ full report, I'm sure that
more people would have been interested in attending. Do people not think it
a *tad* important to be told "Oh, by the way the average entry fee is going
to up by at least 50 quid?"

Dora, you say no- one turned up. Is it any wonder? The agenda of the
meeting looks as it it is tailored EXCLUSIVELY for the BUF and U8C. Do you
not think that people are only really interested if something *directly*
affects them? Whatever you decide, there will still be tours of some form.
Big deal. People will still get to play disc, in whatever format YOU decide.
Hooyah! That is why we have committees - to do the thinking for us!! (yes I
know, major can of worms, but at heart it's the truth). However, anything
that involves radical price hikes is something that needs to be told to
people because that DOES affect people.

Can you not see a knock on effect? Increasing the price of a tour
event can also cause across the board increases in other tournaments.

So - Dora, it was not on the agenda that tour fees were going to be
increased.

Chris - in your (absolutely correct, IMHO) report It was not
mentioned that tour fees for the 2001 season were going to have to increase.

Therefore I believe I'm fully entitled to bring it to light now.
