My suggestion would be to have no connection at all between the 
Geo tour and the National tour, so as to encourage top players
to put their weight into their Geo team for part of the year.
Some teams (eg Red, and other geo-squads) might remain the same,
but I'd certainly expect a load of reforming of teams.

[Of course, it would be a blast to have a tournament with the top 4 from
each region fighting it out for the "top Geo-team" trophy; we should do 
that, at the end of the Geo-tour.]

Teams like that would have other tournaments organised for them, 
and would [I hope] organise tournaments themselves too. They could 
participate in a National or Geo "B" league. They could go to 
open tournaments like Ross-on-Wet.
