I'm seeing a strange connection between Albatross
and that couple who almost won 3 million. Miss the
deadline and pay the price.
While I don't think it's crazy to penalise teams who
don't sent the money on time, I do know
I'd feel if bit annoyed if we got our cheque in on
time but still were the 29th team in behind a few new
ones. It might be an idea to impose two
deadlines the way some ticket sales work. The first
deadline open only to teams who were in the previous
event(s)and the second afterwards to allow new teams
in to any spaces left by teams not making the first
dead line. This way new teams with a quick draw on
the cheque book can only really bump out last
event's teams who are really slow on the draw.
