I think what really rankles some folks is the APPEARANCE of you guys
blatantly cheating.

I know that as a TD and person in a BUF leadership position, I often have to
make decisions that are blatantly unfair to MY OWN TEAM to avoid the
appearance of being partisan and of cheating. I can name ten people off the
top of my head who have made decisions detrimental to their own teams in the
past year in order to be seen as being fair.

That said, I find it hard to believe that you guys didn't look at your new
pool and think 'Well, that might look a bit odd.' Add to that the
unfortunate coincidence of a problem with seedings at your most recent co-ed
tournament, which was clearly a simple misunderstanding and nothing
malicious, and it just looks really bad.

Compounding the problem is that different decisions would have given teams
close to you in the points standings a d'mn good chance of making the
semi's. At the end of the day- that is what the row is about. It LOOKS
like you guys cheated your @sses off.

And although it really screwed my own team's chances. I'm going to assume
that you made your decisions as best you could at the time. Maybe next
time.... And hopefully this will resolve itself quickly. I know you
worked really hard to get a Tour together, and that its a thankless job.
