Dear All,

This is a request for candidates for directorships on the board of UK Ultimate.

Four of the directors have specific roles, namely President, Treasurer, Secretary & Director of Competitions. The remaining seven (maximum) are 'without portfolio'.

The duty of the board is to govern and manage the association. The directors will have responsibilities for decision making and leadership but will not automatically be required to do all the work. Directors are free to appoint or employ other officers to assist them where necessary.

Ideally the board of directors should be a team of people from varying backgrounds in the ultimate community who can co-operate to develop the sport for the benefit of everyone who plays.

If you have a vision for the future of the sport which you would like to promote then you should consider standing as a director. If you have particular experience or a particular skill which may be of use to UK Ultimate then consider becoming a director or volunteering to help the board.

More details of the roles are described at the end of this email. Please don't hesitate to ask us for more information.

Thanks

Ben Ravilious
Caretaker Secretary
UK Ultimate
