Subject: Anyone else with a dodgy ankle???

All on Britdisc,

Anyone else with a dodgy ankle???
I am placing an order in for McDavid (lace-up) ankle supports for a few
people.
If you do not know about this type of support, it is descibed here:
http://www.ankle-foot.com/mcd.htm
It is worn over the sock, under the shoe, and is so much better than
anything I have come across in this country.

I have been told by the company I am getting them from that if I can an
order of more than 10 (I have an order of 4 so far) I can get them for $30
including delivery (instead of their normal price of $35 plus $6-8
delivery).

(Alternatively, if anyone knows where I can actually get them in this
country...)

Single problem I have found with them is when playing football, you cannot
easily twist your foot to play the ball with the outside of your boot.

If anybody wants one, mail me at home (with shoe size, and colour preference
b/w) on steve@ultim8.freeserve.co.uk
The total cost will be between 22 and 23 quid (including delivery from me to
you).
When I ordered one for myself the delivery took about 2 weeks.

I should be at the Edinburgh Beginners (wearing one) with the Durham team if
anyone there wants to try mine.

Regards,
Steve Henderson
