IF YOU ARE NOT A STUDENT IN THE SOUTH WEST AREA THEN DELETE NOW.

This years Wales and South West student regionals will be hosted by
Cardiff University in the Talybont sports hall on the 24/25 November.

We hope to have a 24 team tournament with 3 pitches. This of course
depends on the number of teams that each club may bring, as I
understand it their are no new clubs this year so the region still
consists of:

Cardiff - No Frills
Bristol - Mythago
UWE
Bath - BLT
Southampton - Skunks
Exeter - Uriel
Plymouth - Picnic

This would mean that each team would be required to bring 3.428 teams
each although I'm sure some clubs would like to enter 4 and others
only 2. If we unable to get 24 teams then it would probably get
knocked down to 20 teams for convenience.

The plan is to play 3 pools of 8 and then work out some sort of cross
over system before going into top/middle/bottom 8 K.O's. (I'm sure
somebody has worked out a system for this, Jon ?)

As the number of teams is yet undecided the exact cost can't be
calculated allthough expect to work on a £70 /team cost.

Therefore within the next week (deadline Monday night) I will need to
hear from each club with the number of teams they hope to bring and
contact details for your club as I WILL NOT BE POSTING ANY FURTHER
DETAILS ON BRITDISC OR EGROUPS.

Speak to you soon
