Hello,

Thanks to everyone who came to the Loughborough Midlands Student 2001. A
true display of growth in student ultimate. Good atmosphere. Especially
with the old boys teams there. There was a lot of lost property and the
list is at the bottom of the mail.

Loopy, we put in a bid to host the National Student Indoors and NTN at the
same time in June. Tim Blair has said that it has to go to an open bid.
However, it is unlikely that anyone else has facilities for 48 teams (5
halls). We are thinking of 3 tournaments all using the same format.
Nationals, NTN and an open tournament. I agree that you should have to
qualify for NTN. If anyone else wants to host the nationals, put a bid in
to tim blair asap.

Here are the results from the Midlands:

(qualified)
1. Bears
2. Purple Haze
3. Ow!
4. Fly TNT

(NTN qualifiers)
5. Purple Kennies (purple haze 4)
6. Jesters
