Although 18 countries are entering the World Clubs in Vancouver, I would
like to let everyone know that Great Britain will not be represented by
  a womens team.....
This seems rather a shame especially as at one time we had 3 teams
challenging for the right to go.

I have heard that some British women are planning on playing for Red
Lights of Amsterdam. If my memory serves me right the 2 American women
played for Bliss in Millfield were banned from representing their country
for 2 years after playing. This probably did not affect them because they
did not play for one of the top few American women's teams but will
probably be relevant in this case.

Another relevant case is that of Manu (sorry not sure if I've spelled
that right) who had to apply to the WFDF to play for Red Lights (or
possibly Holland) at a World Championships because she no longer lived
there and was a Belgian National even though she has lived and played for
that team for a number of years!

Just wondering if those players going to represent Holland and not Great
Britain have WFDF approval and realise the consequences.
