A few things that are happening that will help the 'state of British
women's ultimate' (in no particular order)
- co-ed tourneys
- more Open Women Practices (see how many of these there are coming up)
eg Practice/Hat Tournament in Leeds on 10/11 May
- more women's tourneys like indoor and outdoor nats of last couple of yrs
- greater regionalization at student level (yeah - this is not so
popular in general - but it will help in this case)

Of course Scott has also replied... but I want to say something
also!!
People who deserve credit for the above in particular: Sue Underwood and
Liz Bourne for the stuff relating directly to women, and also Scott
for getting on with CoEd tourneys.

The main thing would appear to be to attract more women to the game
at uni level and KEEP THEM PLAYING. I think the above will help.
I'm sure there are other things that can be done.

(From my end, I have avoided organising women's tourneys alongside the
tour events and nationals because many mixed-club players don't like
it.)

Is that next to the heads of all the Shotgun players who wanted more
competition but wouldn't play for anyone else?
Our heads are out of the sand on that question and it seems to be working
so far. If you have some constructive suggestions on the women's
issue please share them with us all.

yeah
