Thanks to Si Hill for taking the trouble to point out what is going on as far as
promoting the women's game in this country. Here's hoping that something comes
from it all before the next world clubs. Unfortunately, his comment about
shotgun players not playing for other teams was pointed in the wrong direction,
as I have served my fair stint in Samurai and Sneekies.

If its of any interest to anybody, I don't agree that all members should have
equal say in BUF matters. Instead, players should make a point of getting
involved in matters that concern them. I'm sure Diana wouldn't want me saying
how women's ultimate should be run any more than I'd like her telling me how to
compete at international level. So my involvement in women's ultimate extends as
far as discussing things with Liz Bourne now and again. I hope the BUF (we) can
tolerate members who contribute despite having a different view.

As far as scott's accusation of membership apathy is concerned, he knows
perfectly well that I have tried harder than anybody else in this country (and
failed) to change the present running of the GB open team on more than one
occassion (something that does concern me). As far as going to a BUF meeting on
the saturday night of a tournament, no mate, I'd rather be out having fun but
you're doing a grand job (despite not being the way I would do it).
