All,

Bids are now being taken for the hosting of the Student Outdoors 2002. The
date set for this event is the weekend of 4th/5th May -- this will not be
changed. If anyone is interested in hosting the event, please contact me ASAP
at tim@mwncisee.co.uk with details of your bid.

In general, bids should cover in details such as:

 - facilities for 32 teams
 - (at least) 8 pitches, preferably 10 (or more)
 - _hot_ showers and changing facilities for everyone
 - camping facilities (or other accommodation)
 - St. John's (or other medical aid) on site Sat and Sun
   during playing time
 - party on Sat night, preferably on site or very near by
 - local amenities (supermarket etc) available within easy
   walking distance
 - general location and accessibility
 - bribes ;o)
 - anything else I've forgotten

You have until the end of next week (Friday 1st March) to get your bids in.
All bids will then be put to the student committee and a decision will be made
very soon after.

Thanks,

Tim.
