As previous organiser of the Nuns, don't know whether we will ever exist again!
I feel there is a need for a co-ordinator for Womens Club teams, (WHY CAN'T WE
DO IT OURSELVES) we have just proved it!
GB had 2 allocations for Vancouver thanks to the GB seeding from Sweden, at
Nationals it was decide that Twin Peaks were not interested in entering a team
to Vancouver which left space for Nuns.

Then followed several hours for sorting flyers 'phone calls emails and alike to
try and attract players interest in Vancouver.
After the first practice there was around 15 players interested, the second around
12 and half of them off to the Bliss practice the next day.
The Nuns then feel apart due to lack of interest and a desire to play for Bliss
(who can blame them).

Now two months down the line Bliss no longer have enough players.
I have not been contacted by anyone other than Katy James (ex Nun) who tried to
salvage Bliss after Hitchin.
If their are a problem with numbers why not contact the Womens team contact in
Ultimatium and ask whether their are intersted players, prior to 4 weeks before
the rostered hand in date.

I feel the one of the largest problems in womens ultimate is the break down in
communication, people may feel thems too proud, too unworthy, or whatever.
Personal I feel that if a less experienced player should get very involved/involved
in Womens ultimate that they would not be respected or listened to by some of the
more experienced players because there standard of play. Which has nothing to do with
the fact that they may be a damm good organiser and want women ultimate to go far in
this country.

All that leaves me to do is get more involved in the BUF, which I will now make every
effort to, it's just such a shame it's all fallen apart this year.

Before I get slated for my views, this is how I feel, I can't be wrong, but if there
are some facts that you would like to tell me please do!

 Hi Britdisc,

Since I started this I'd better lay out my opinion:

Firstly, as far as I know six English players are picking up for RED
 LIGHTS...

I am unaware of whether they are eligible or not. I don't actually care.
In my opinion they should all be playing for GB.

It is outrageous that this number of players should be allowed to play
for a different country, when there are AT LEAST 10 players committed to
playing, (eight of whom have tickets).
How will womens ultimate in GB ever improve if the more experienced
 players defect to other teams?

There should be stronger support within the BUF for situations like
this, perhaps the creation of a national womens league, and
encouragement for more geo-based womens teams.

GB SHOULD BE REPRESENTED AT VANCOUVER
