LONDON ULTIMATE SESSION - session 1 results
===========================================

Wow, massive turnout. Forty players showed up for the first night of the
London Ultimate Session. Two games simultaneously, taking over the whole
of one section of Clapham Common (and the whole of the seating outside
the Windmill pub afterwards!)

Last night's league game, endearingly titled "A vs B", made a great start
to the event. If I remember, B (captained by Shotgun's Garret Crosby)
took the first three points. Then Roger Thompson's A-team staged a
serious comeback, to go about 6-3 or 7-4 up. But by 8 o'clock, B had
pulled level again at 8-8, and the two point cap went on. Two hard fought
points left the teams at 9 all, with the final sudden death point
clinched by Team B.

Some fine play by the less-experienced players, who were not in the least
bit phased by their GB-standard team-mates ability to throw the disc away.

The pickup game seemed to be enjoyed by it's participants too, playing
well into the night, until the team in dark could no longer see who to
throw to.

Thanks to everyone who played - it's because *you* made the effort to
come down that the whole thing worked. Let's do it again. Next Tuesday
okay?

Paul
