A few thoughts...

Firstly, Thanks for a great tournament last weekend. Speaking for the whole
of my team - we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Secondly, regarding the "stronger/weaker" regions... I agree with Cormac.
Okay, so we were the second of the two teams from scotland, and okay - we
came 17th.... BUT... I feel this tournament provided our young team with
essential experience and tactics, that we would never have got otherwise.
The saturday games were tough and we didn't play particularly well, but we
learned from those games (thanks to sublime, angels, whiplash, std and
skunks) and came out a much stronger team the next day. This was our first
ever open tournament outside of scotland, and I am grateful for the
opportunity given to us. Perhaps this year scotland is the weaker region,
but allowing us to come along and compete has given us valuable experience,
which in the long run (hopefully) will help us to become a team capable of
running with the big midland teams!

LAST but NOT LEAST: I want to thank every team that we played against in
the nationals... we may have won, we may have lost - but we enjoyed EVERY
bit of it. Great spirit by all!

Thanks, and sorry for the babbling...
NSC Dave
positive mojo
