Teams aren't restricted to certain Regions because for a variety of
reasons.

Historically, we've encountered problems when:
a Region has been unable to host a Regional Championship/Qualifier;
a Regional event has not been large enough to accommodate all of the
'local' teams;

and of course, there are several non-Geo teams that head for wherever
they reckon they can do something entertaining between games and have a
good Saturday night out.

With any luck, as the sport grows, each region will become stronger, the
geo-stuff will kick in and everyone will stay closer to home for
Regionals.

In the meantime, keep thinking, and remember this stuff BEFORE Regionals
and Nationals next year :)
